In  the second period Semiahmoo scored 3 goals.  #16 A Cook scored with assists from #2 and #19 C Dosanjh.  It was followed by the goal from #12 D. Buttar, assisted by #21 D. Bancroft. Semiahmoo’s #9 A Van Den Brink scored next with assist going to #21 D. Bancroft.  The score after the second period, Campbell River 0, Semiahmoo 3.

Campbell River started off the third period with a goal from #71 Dawson Frank, assisted by #66 Mitchell Rogers.  Seconds later Semiahmoo scored with the power play goal by #16 A Cook, assisted by #5 O. Williams.  Campbell River scored with a power play goal from #7 Tyler Dickson, assisted by #18 Todd Campbell.  With 1:49 Campbell River’s #12 Lukas Lund scored, unassisted and only one goal below their opponent.  Campbell River pulled their goalie for the 6th attacker but with 19 seconds left in the game, Semiahmoo’s #12 D. Buttar scored on the empty net.  Final score, Campbell River 3, Semiahmoo 5.

Wow! It was an exciting last few minutes to the game.

Cowichan was the first to score with a power play goal from #26, assisted by #20 Luke Handel.  Nanaimo’s 14 Thomas Grabher scored a goal with assists from #11 Payton Bray and #16 Adam Fulton.  Cowichan came back to take the lead with 2 minutes left in the first period when #19 Jacob Middlemiss-DeGroot scored with assist from #10 Logan Baltzer.  Score after the first period, Cowichan 2, Nanaimo 1.

Cowichan added to their lead with a goal early in the second period by #15 Brandon Mytts, assisted by #3 Hunter Hieta.  Nanaimo scored next with the goal from #15 Nick Robinson, assisted by #3 Cole Ford.  Nanaimo scored again to tie the score with the goal from #9 James Johnston, unassisted.  Cowichan, with 3 minutes left in the second period took the lead with the goal from #16 Rhys Mazurenko.  Score at the end of the second Cowichan 4, Nanaimo 3.

Nanaimo’s #16 Adam Fulton scored early in the third period with an assist from #2 Cam McNeil.  With 15:12 on the clock Nanaimo’s #9 James Johnston got his second goal of the game on a power play.  It was assisted by #16 Adam Fulton and #2 Cam McNeil.  Nanaimo fought hard to maintain their one goal lead including Cowichan’s penalty shot on the Nanaimo goalie with 32 seconds left in the game.  The final score Cowichan 4, Nanaimo 5.

In the first period, Comox scored with 8:52 on the clock with the goal from #19 Nathan Doleman, assisted by #17 Trevor Pruden.  The first period ended with the score, Alberni 0, Comox 1.

Comox continued their lead in the second period with a goal from #8 Kaleb Peldjak, assisted by #3 James Garrett.  Alberni’s first goal was on the power play when #16 Ayden Brossoit scored, unassisted.  With 3 minutes left in the period, Alberni scored again with a goal from #18 Austin Marling, assisted by #6 Ezra Paddock.  The score at the end of the second period was Alberni 2, Comox 2.

The game is tied at 2.  There was no scoring in the third period.  The game proceed to overtime – 4th period (4 on 4) and no scoring.  In the 5th period (3 on 3) and 1:20 left on the clock. Alberni’s #18 Austin Marling scored, unassisted.  Final score, Alberni 3, Comox 2.

The only goal in the first period was from Alberni’s #15 Andrew Check, unassisted and while short handed.  Score at the end of the first period.  Alberni 1, Campbell River 0.

Alberni started off the scoring in the second period with a power play goal from #6 Kolby Antonelli, unassisted.  Campbell River’s #91 Daniel Gilson scored an unassisted goal with 14:49 on the clock.  The score at the end of the second period was Alberni 2, Campbell River 1.

Campbell River started off the third period with the first 4 goals from #16 Sage Cameron, followed by #55 Hayden Cross, #4 Jacob Hartley, and with 5 minutes on the clock #66 Jack McKenzie.  Alberni’s #93 Ravi Manhas scored a goal with assists from #6 Kolby Antonelli and #11 Riley Kozocari.  With 43 seconds left on the clock, Alberni’s #13 Hunter White scored, assisted by #15 Andrew Check.  Campbell River squeezed in another goal with 2 seconds left on the clock, from #18, unassisted.  Final score, Alberni 4, Campbell River 6.

Burnaby started the scoring midway in the first period with a goal from #11 Liam Ryan, assisted by #9 Zack Dallabanna.  The next goal for Burnaby came from #9 Zack Dallabanna, unassisted.  Less than a minute later, Burnaby’s #19 Christian Buono scored a goal assisted by #18 Ethan Reilly.  Burnaby continues to score with another goal from #19 Christian Buono, assisted by #18 Ethan Reilly and #7 Ryan Riggs.  Burnaby’s last goal in the period on the power play when #11 Liam Ryan scored unassisted.  Kerry Park scored on the power play with 26 seconds left in the period with the goal from #5 Isaac Tonkin-Palmer, assisted by #3 Brett Humberstone.  The score after the first period of play, Burnaby 5, Kerry Park 1.

Kerry Park started the second period with the unassisted goal of #18 Samson McLean.  Burnaby scored next with a goal from #12 Joshua Gibbons, unassisted.  Kerry Park, on the power play again, scored a goal from #9 Noah Taron, assisted by #5 Isaac Tonkin-Palmer.  In the last second of the period, Burnaby scored with the goal of #19 Christian Buono, assisted by #12  Joshua Gibons.  The score at the end of the second period, Burnaby 7, Kerry Park 3.

(After Round Robin play, 4th Pool B – Powell River vs 4th Pool A – Peninsula)

Powell River started the scoring with a power play goal from #8 Keaton Mastrodonato, assisted by #19 Ethan Schmunk and #10 Cameron McNeil.  With 8 minutes left in the game, Powell River’s #17 Spencer Jamieson scored.  Peninsula came on the board with a goal from #9 Justin Reedeker on a power play and unassisted.  Five seconds later Powell River’s #8 Keaton Mastrodonato scored his second goal of the game, unassisted.  At the end of the first period the score was Powell River 3, Peninsula 1.

In the second period, Peninsula was the first to score when #9 Justin Reedeker scored his second goal of the game, unassisted.  Powell River returned to score 5 goals before the end of the period.  All the goals were “equal strength” and scored by #20 Cole Forsythe, #7 Brett Kinley, #17 Spencer Jamieson, 12 Tyler Carpendale and #10 Cameron McNeil.  The score at the end of the second period was, Powell River 8, Peninsula 2.

Scoring started in the last 8 minutes of the first period with Campbell River on a power play and #18 Todd Campbell scoring with an assist from #9 Olivia Knowles.  A minute later, Alberni’s #18 Austin Marling scores, assisted by #9 Colton Lloyd.  With 3:54 on the clock Campbell River was short handed when #91 Nolan Fair scored, assisted by #6 Liam Rivett.  The score at the end of the first period, Campbell River 2, Alberni 1.

In the second period, Alberni gained momentum with 2 goals, both on the power play.  Alberni’s #8 Jayden Moss goal was assisted by #9 Colton Lloyd.  Within a minute of that goal, #9 Colton Lloyd scored with assists from #18 Austin Marling and #6 Ezra  Paddock.  The score at the end of the second period, Campbell River 2, Alberni 3.

The third period had Campbell River take their turn and scored 2 goals , both on power plays.  Campbell River’s #71 Dawson Frank scored with #18 Todd Campbell assisting.  With 7:04 left on the clock, # Doug Campbell scored with #18 Todd Campbell assisting.  The game ended with 7:04 left on the clock as the 1 hour 45 minutes to play the game had been used up.
